Fully waterproof jacket, taped seams, 12000 mm canvas.
The Mermoz jacket takes its name from the famous French aviator and legendary airmail figure. The one nicknamed the Archangel disappeared in the South Atlantic. The stature and reputation for invulnerability of this aviation giant were such that its disappearance seemed impossible. For a long time, his friend Antoine de Saint-Exupéry will wait for a reappearance of his faithful friend. Inspired by the Aéropostale pilots of the 1930s, the Mermoz trench seduces with its elegant and timeless cut. The know-how implemented for the jackets of the Aéropostale and the French Air Force make the Mermoz jacket a jacket totally adapted to driving two-wheelers. The neck and face are fully protected, thanks to the caban collar.
Very practical and stylish: on the left inside panel, heart side, a large quarter-size A4 zipped pocket, a business card/Iphone pocket and 2 pen slots. The zipped pocket is inserted into the main waterproof fabric of the jacket to be well protected and very sturdy. There is a satin twill lining and all waterproof taped seams.
The trench is equipped with special pockets inside elbows and shoulders; these make it possible to place protective shells to European standards.
